In the past couple of months, there have been a few of us meeting with Dave to try to get a committee going to begin growing the NADAD organization. Dave commented that there were people expressing concern that there were not meetings being held. We scheduled a meeting for March 17th, securing a meeting place generously donated for the evening by the Masons of Chatham. The meeting was posted on the NADAD site, as well as on the Facebook site. Several people confirmed their attendance. Meeting night arrives, and aside from the three organizers what was the attendance? Zero. Zip, zilch, nada. Is it any wonder people do not take the plight of non-custodial parents seriously? Come on folks, we couldn't organize a dinner party for one at this rate. I was to say the least, extremely disappointed to see that not one individual could make the effort to attend this meeting.

any more meetings in the Chatham area?
Thinking that maybe a few meetings need to be set up ahead of time so that people can arrange things so they can make it to the next meeting. I have a hard time finding a babysitter so its hard to attend meetings.
